Life coaching from a Christ-centered approach begins with the fact that God empowers and enables you to be all that you’re destined to be.

Here are two simple ways to tell if you really love the LORD:

  • You do what He says, and, just like any child obey a parent, preferably with a good attitude.

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.  (John 14:23)

  • Love others.

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (Matthew 22:37-39)

What does “Love” mean? It’s much different than the world today says it is! True Love is defined in the Bible, in I Corinthians 13:4-8:

4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;
6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. (I Corinthians 13:4-8) ESV

So ask the LORD to help you love Him, and love others more. The more you love, the more like Him you will be, for “God is love”
